This Joomla! component mixes sources like newsfeed, calendar and Facebook into one dynamic homepage. It's a very natural way of integrating Facebook into your website, as opposed to some standard widgets you may find around the web. It also shows upcoming events from the Supercal component. This keeps your website up-to-date, even when you haven't posted any new articles for a while.
My school uses a pretty neat Learning Managment System called Canvas. It shows a nice ToDo-list of upcoming assignments. However, I already used the ToDoist-app for my own ToDo-lists. Luckily, both systems have a nice API. Using a cronjob, CanvasToDoist checks the Canvas API a few times every day for new assignments and sends them to my ToDoist-app.

For an introductory class in ICT & Media Design (IMD) I designed and built this website. It's meant as a promotional website for the IMD course in Eindhoven. You may visit the website at: http://bit.ly/17WcUHo
As Head of Communications I volunteer for the Scouting Raamsdonksveer scoutgroup. For them I designed a corporate identity using elements freely available from Scouting Nederland. This includes a logo, business cards, stationary, website, postcard, flyers, posters and many more.
Over a few years time, I gradually developed the website. It now contains a great deal of information for all target-audiences: (potential) members, parents and (potential) volunteers. The website also uses a few of the components described elsewhere in my portfolio. You may visit the website at: www.scoutingrveer.nl.
When I couldn't find a suitable calendar component for my Joomla! website, I decided to build one myself. I've been developing the Supercal component ever since. It has many features, like placing an item in multiple categories, category avatars, and importing the calendar into your own calendar app (using an ics file or link). There are some custom fields, like organizer, price, website, etc. There's even an option for logged-in users to attend or decline (like on Facebook).
For the Xsinchère choir, I completely redesigned their website. They asked for a simple, modern and stylish website. The new website which would have to focus on their concerts and also raise attention for their Facebook-page. I also upgraded Xsinchère's logo to reflect the style and colors used in the new homepage. You may visit the website at: www.xsinchere.nl.
